Eva Reyes : Diving in from Mexico

Born in Tijuana, Mexico by the Californian border, Eva Reyes was recruited by the Redbird Swimming and Diving team. She is expected to graduate in 2025, giving her 3 more years to represent Illinois State University at the highest NCAA level.

As part of my summer internship with Redbird Creative, I came up with the project of highlighting international student athletes that decided, like me, to cross the pond and move to the United States. Most of them do it to be able to combine their education with their athletic career, but they all have their own stories.
